Computer fraud

Computer fraud is the act of using a computer to commit fraud. Computer fraud is a criminal offense punishable by jail time and fines under the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act.
Computer fraud is dangerous because you can become a victim without even knowing about it.
More and more people across the globe are becoming comfortable with the online purchasing process. But as more people start buying things online, computer fraud is becoming a much larger problem than anyone could have guessed. If you want to protect yourself from computer fraud, then the best thing you can do is learn more about it.
Today’s fraudsters aren’t just bored teenagers anymore. The online criminals of today are skilled computer experts who know how to manipulate your computer into giving them the information they need for their computer fraud schemes. There are five main types of computer fraud:
1. The alteration or copying of system input.
2. The theft of processing capabilities due to unauthorized use.
3. The unauthorized duplication, deletion, modification or installation of software.
4. The unauthorized duplication, deletion or modification of data.
5. The theft or misuse of system output.

Civil and public law summary

Civil law concerns disputes among citizens within a country and the main categories of civil law are: torts, probate, contracts, trusts and family law.  Public law concerns disputes between citizens and the state, or between one state and another. The main categories of this law are: crimes, international law and constitutional law.
Criminal and civil procedure are different.  In a criminal action the standards of proof are higher than in a civil, the prosecution must prove the guilt of a criminal "beyond reasonable doubt", but the plaintiff in a civil action is required to prove his case "on the balance of probabilities". Another different is that the party bringing a criminal action is called the prosecution, but the party bringing a civil action is the plaintiff. 
The standard of proof in the civil case is lower than it is in the criminal case, so the guilty defendant in a criminal case will not automatically be found liable in a civil action about the same matter, his chances of avoiding civil liability are not good.  If the loser of a civil case refuses to comply with the order made against him the procedures for forcing him to comply may result in a criminal prosecution.

Social work is my future profession

I'm studying social work. I like this profession very much. I'm very happy about my studies, because social work was very interesting profession for me before leaving school. Social work is a profession, in which the most important thing is communication. It’s great that we learn how to speak with people – social worker’s clients, how to help them overcome their problems. I think even if I won’t be a social worker, it’s a very useful experience. Of course our study plan is comprised not only of social sciences (sociology, voluntary, social work’s theory and practice), but also we learn economics, philosophy, law, etc. I believe I’m in the right way.
